Sandbox 2.0 is a flexible tool for playing board games whose rules are agreed by the players. It allows pieces to be placed, moved or removed without enforcing any game-specific rules.

Compared with the original Sandbox, it supports up to four players, the entire shared collection of boards and all 243 pieces. Complete game setups can also be saved for reuse.

Before the game begins:

1. Enter a game name or load one of your saved setups.
2. Choose from square, hexagonal, rhombic or triangular boards in various sizes, grids, coordinate orientations and colors.
3. Select the pieces that will be available during the game.
4. Continue to arrange the initial position, then select START. The complete setup can be saved for future games.

During a turn, a player can place new pieces, move existing pieces or remove them from the board. Individual actions can be undone before selecting Finish move, which passes the turn to the next player.

Players are responsible for following the agreed rules, deciding which moves are legal and determining when the game has ended.
